Dave grew up in western Washington State and gained a love for the Cascade Mountains on childhood camping trips and hikes with his family. After a hiatus from the mountains during his teenage years, Dave returned to them, camera in-hand in his early twenties.
Dave relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 2006.
